Fun Times, Rough Roof

Last week we had a very cool house on the list to re-roof. The roof was a 10/12 pitch and had holes in the front porch and 3 layers total so roofing it was an exciting challenge. 

Roofline Supply and Delivery not load our roof because it had 3 Layers of roofing on it. Then, after the roofing was removed, we found there was no deck sheathing on most of the roof!

 

 

As you can see in the above pictures, we had a tough one in front of us.

The crew had their hands full with hand loading this thing from the ground with new deck sheathing and the roofing, which is not ideal in 85 degree weather for anybody but it comes with the territory of being a seasoned roofing contractor. Being professionals the crew did a great job, in a very efficient manner.

 

 On the same job there was a 700 Sf garage that had a cinder block structural wall on one side of the building that protruded up past the roofs drip edge. This called for a small area of torch down material, or TPO which completely water proofs the contact area between the wall and the roof.

 

 

After it was all said and done this roof turned out great!
